Asiyab Miyun Southeastern Iran

The long qanat (underground canal) that takes water to Boshrooyeh is also used to power a series of antique, subterranean watermills. Asiyab Miyun is one of those that has been restored and is still in semi-regular use, laboriously grinding flour the traditional way. It's 500m west of the tiny hamlet of Aliabad.
