This museum gives you a chance to deepen your understanding of the ethnic peoples of Phongsali Province. It contains a wealth of cultural information on animism and customs, with photos and historical background, as well as displays of the vividly coloured traditional clothing you're likely to see on your travels. If the door is locked, ask for the key from the post office across the road.
