Totem Pole Vancouver

Almost hidden in a quiet corner of Granville Island, this 17m-high pole was erected in 1999 and was carved via the joint efforts of more than 800 people. There's a hidden time capsule buried in its base but don't stick around for the opening; it's scheduled for 2099.
